Shipping and Returns.

 

Delivery

We aim to process your order within 24 hours of receipt.

Standard delivery takes between 3-5 working days. Delivery costs are calculated by weight and include packaging. Standard delivery for all UK mainland addresses for items is £3.99 and are sent by Royal Mail to standard UK mainland addresses.

Returns Policy

We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, under our 'no quibble' policy, if you wish to return the goods then please do so within 28 days of receipt and we will be happy to provide a full refund or exchange. Please note that goods returned under our 'no quibble' policy must be returned unopened in their original packaging and in a saleable condition. Due to the nature of the products ‘saleable condition’ means items must not be worn or washed. If the item has been worn or washed it will be deemed ‘not saleable’. 

Unless the goods are faulty or damaged, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please quote your invoice number, name, address and telephone number with all returns. When returning goods we advise you obtain a free certificate of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit. Credit card refunds can only be credited back to the original card that the goods were bought with; if these details are not supplied there may be a delay in your card being refunded. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returned goods must be clearly marked "Returns" and posted to Hippynut Eco Ltd, 2 Mills Walk, Sandy, Bedfordshire, UK.

You are responsible for the cost of returning any goods and the risk of loss when returning them. We recommend that you send returns via insured tracked delivery or by a tracked and insured courier. You will need to make a claim for their value if they go missing. We can not be held responsible for any items returned to us that go missing in the post.

If you cancel or return your whole order within 14 days of delivery to you, we’ll reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery to you not the cost of returning items.

We may make a deduction from your refund for the loss of value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you e.g you destroy the packaging of a product. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We will make your refund without undue delay and not later than:

  1. 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

If no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel your order.

Exchanges

Please send your items back along with all your full details and what you’d like to exchange them for. If there is an additional balance to pay we will contact you on their arrive to arrange for the additional payment. If a refund is due this will be arranged in accordance with our refund policy above.

Our returns policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please note if you do not include a note your refund won’t get processed. Refunds are processed ASAP but your payment provider/paypal can often take about 10 days to deposit it back into your account.

Postage Charges & Refunds

Where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we’ll refund the item minus any postage costs that would have incurred had you not ordered the returned item in the first place. For example, if you qualified for cheaper or free postage by ordering this item but you return it and it takes you below the cheaper or free postage rate, postage would be taken off your refund.

Where you are returning an entire order we’ll refund for the items but no delivery postage you paid unless you are returning the items within 14 days of completion of your order.  If you pay for any “upgrades” on postage over our free postage levels these additional postage “upgrades” will not be refunded. For example, your order qualifies for free delivery but you choose to pay for the upgrade to DPD this upgrade will not be refunded.

Faulty Items

We maintain high standards and strict quality control, but occasionally a faulty item may slip through the process. We guarantee our products against defects in materials and manufacturing faults for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. What is covered in our warranty: 

Manufacturing defects of the following:

  • Flaws in fabric  

  • Delamination

  • Stitching 

  • Poppers  

  • Zippers  

What is not covered: 

(The following are not manufacturing defect) 

Slight relaxing of elastics 

Slight variances in snap placement 

  • Colour runs 

  • Snags 

  • Fading

  • Cracks 

  • Pilling 

  • Leaks

  • Staining 

Our warranty does not cover products that have been subjected to excessive or incorrect laundering or mistreatment; the definition of excessive laundering and mistreatment includes but is not limited to: 

  • PUL delamination due to high-temperature washing, sun damage, drying on/too close to a radiator or tumble-drying on high.

  • Damage due to washing too frequently above 60 degrees, washing with open hook and loop fasteners (such as Velcro products) or soaking 

  • Damage as a result of contact or exposure to fabric softeners, bleach, vinegar, harsh stain removers, natural soaps or barrier creams 

  • Cracked PUL occurs when the laminate is severely dried out. This can happen because of water quality, types of detergent, and many other factors out of our control.

  • Excessive wear and tear  For goods that are deemed to be faulty we will either

    1. Replace faulty used products as long as they were purchased within the last 12 months, or 

    2. Provide a credit note as long as they were purchased within the last 12 months.

  • **We will require proof of the purchase date so please keep your receipt.**

Return postage costs for faulty goods will be paid for by Hippynut Eco Ltd on the basis of the least expensive return delivery available and as long as you have contacted us in advance.

Before you return the faulty item to Hippynut Eco Ltd, please contact us by email hello@hippynut.com, with photographs of the fault and your order details. Please do this as soon as you notice the fault. 

Unauthorised returns are not accepted. When returning goods we advise you obtain a free certificate of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit. 

Products purchased from a third party

Any Hippynut Eco Ltd products purchased from a third party must be returned to the third party. We will happily advise on any product information or faulty goods issues, but any subsequent replacements/refunds will need to be obtained from the original seller.
